The process of installing a customised concrete pool

We arrange a time to meet face to face at the location of the pool build to discuss how we can make your pool dream a reality.

This will allow us to determine your design ideas and preferences, and also make suggestions to ensure we achieve a design best suited to your space. Do not worry if you are unsure on your design, with years of experience under our belts we are here to help.

Following the initial consultation we will send a quote via email within 48 hours, for you to review

Once you have accepted the quote we will consult with our engineer and certifier to draw official plans for certification and council approval.

This process can take up to 4 weeks, depending on the council wait times.  

This is where we will again meet face to face at the pool construction site to set-up the timber profiles to mark where the pool will be located for the excavation.

This will allow you another opportunity to make minor changes to the official plans if required.

A team of specialised pool excavators will come to the pool construction site to perform the dig.

Soil removal is included in this step, unless otherwise specified.

A team of experienced tradesmen come to your pool construction site to construct the formwork and steel reinforcement.

They will also complete the pre-plumb for your pool. Once complete, the engineer will come to site and inspect the works, ensuring they meet the engineering specifications.

Here concreters will come to site to spray and shape your brand-new concrete swimming pool.

This is where your dream design will finally start to come to life. Once the concrete is cured, the steel formworker’s will return to remove the formwork.

A qualified plumber and electrician will come to site to install your supplied filtration system and pool lights.

If requested, they will also install any extra heating systems in this step. 

This step includes supply and install of all your chosen coping, surround, waterline, and bench edge tiles, as well as any extra tiling that was discussed during your initial consult to achieve your ultimate dream pool.

We can arrange samples of tiles from our recommended suppliers to ease your design and selection process. 

Next is the installation of your pool fence, where you can choose from glass, aluminium or perforated mesh designs.

We will ensure your new dream pool is up to current safety regulations in preparation for final certification. 

Prior to installing the interior of your pool certification must be obtained. The certifier will come to site to inspect your pool to ensure it meets the current building code and provide us with a final certification certificate.

We will meet the certifier on site to ensure any last minute adjustments are completed in a timely manner to prevent the certifier from having to return at a later date.

This step can only start once the concrete shell has had 28 days to cure.

We will send a team of expert pebblecreters to your pool construction site to install the interior of your choice. There is a wide variety of many different pebble or glass bead mixes and colour options in which we can provide you with samples of.

Once this is complete, the tradesmen will return the following day to begin filling your brand new custom designed concrete swimming pool.

This is the most exciting stage in our opinion!

We will return to site to add in all of the start up chemicals to your brand new custom design concrete swimming pool.

We will give you a demonstration on how to use your filtration system and provide you with maintenance tips to keep your pool pristine condition.
